ProductionCONN launched as a two-day media and video production trade show at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Cromwell in Fall 2011. It was an event where creative minds united to experience emerging innovations, evolving technologies, and informative conferences. Nothing of such scope and scale for the digital media community had been held in Connecticut to date.

The inaugural ProductionCONN Expo marked the first-of-its-kind coming together of media production professionals as a community: digital media and video artists, producers and post-production professionals, writers and journalists, students and top-tier experts—united to learn, grow and share the wealth of knowledge.

ProductionCONN's next event will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Western Connecticut State University and feature vendor exhibitions, and interactive workshops. The event is being co-produced with the Center for 21st Century Skills and AJA Video Systems. The show will be exclusive to students in the Skills21 Program until noon, after which we will open the event to the public. Admission is FREE with a Pre-Registration ($10 at door) and a silent auction will take place for some great prizes and software! Learn more here.
